This Call for Applications (AAC) covers the type of operation “Certified modular training” which aims to:
a) Deepen the skills of adults, with a view to carrying out one or more professional activities, better adaptation to technological and organizational changes and strengthening employability;
b) Promote the creation and certification of competence units (CU) and/or short-term training units (UFCD) with a flexible purpose and duration and adapted to the needs and availability of the adult, in a lifelong learning context;
c) Enable the completion of incomplete qualifications previously obtained through other education and training modalities of the National Qualifications System (SNQ) or through Recognition, Validation and Certification of Skills (RVCC) processes;
d) Allow the implementation and certification of short and medium-term training courses, previously organized, in order to provide a response with coherence and relevance to the job market;
e) Respond to the training needs of the labor market, especially those identified by centers specialized in adult qualification (currently called Qualifica Centers), resulting from the diagnosis carried out, including the analysis carried out within the scope of the Assessment and Certification Committees (CAC) , as well as additional training provided for in RVCC processes, in accordance with applicable legislation.
