Implement environmental protection objectives in particular, ensure the good environmental status of the marine environment in accordance with the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MDF) and promote the protection, restoration and monitoring of ecosystems with a view to adopting measures for conservation and management sustainable marine biodiversity and maintenance of ecosystem services.
